Star pickets are a steel fence post commonly used in agricultural environments to erect barbed wire fences but are also used extensively on civil and construction work sites. Star posts often referred to as Waratahs, fence droppers, star pickets or Y posts are ideal for all types of work sites. They are easily driven into the ground to create a temporary fence, used to cordon off areas or mark out work zones.
Manufactured with pre-drilled holes, star posts are ideal for fixing barrier mesh, barricade tapes and safety flags, supporting various applications and types of tie wire, and providing structure to silt fencing, plastic mesh and wire mesh.
