XT Edge Protection Barriers: Ideal for commercial or residential use
Residential Edge Fencing
This homeowner wanted to enclose his yard safely without restricting views overlooking the scenic Akaroa Harbour. The site is located on the Banks Peninsula in Christchurch, and our customer found Jaybro’s XT Edge Protection Fencing to be the perfect permanent fall protection system for fencing around the top of the retaining wall on their property.
A strong and cost-effective alternative to traditional fencing, XT Edge Protection provides all the safety features of commercial-grade edge fencing while still looking great with its simple mesh construction and neat rolled edges.
Easy to install, the fence panels measure 2.4 metres long and 1m high, providing ample security and accidental fall protection when installed with the matching rectangular hollow structural posts.
Temporary Edge Protection Fencing available from Jaybro
Fortress Fencing XT Panels are rigid steel fence panels with a bottom kick plate and a rolled edge top and bottom. This is to prevent small items from rolling underneath the fence and causing a hazard to people below. Suitable for use on multi-storey construction projects, this fencing complies with AS/NZS 4576 ‘Guidelines for Scaffolding’ and is fit to use in off-the-ground applications. The panels use a special RHS steel post to bolt on to the edge of concrete decks and drop offs during construction work. This helps to create a protective barrier around voids, edges and other no-go areas. A strong temporary fencing solution, it can be used for excavations, work sites, and as proven by our Christchurch customer, for residential use as well.
