Abax Contracting trusts Jaybro Precast products for Maraylya development

Our customer Abax Contracting was engaged to complete early site preparation and subdivision for new residential land releases at Maraylya in the Hawkesbury region. Abax Contracting are specialists in land acquisition, development and civil contracting in the Sydney metropolitan area.

The land releases are part of The Box Hill North Precinct which was zoned for urban development back in 2015. Included in this subdivision was a residential zone consisting of over 600 lots.

Located in the semi-rural areas of Maraylya and Box Hill, The Hills Estate and Highgrove at Box Hill are two residential developments planned for construction. The development plan for the area stated that dwellings must have a high standard of aesthetic quality for both new occupants and the existing residents of the area. The project managers were therefore obligated to fit these new developments into the rural landscape setting, whilst still providing for a modern residential lifestyle.

Consequently, Abax worked to retain the green spaces and rural charm of the area so that the end product would be an attractive estate well suited to the area.

During the initial subdivision works, Abax chose a range of quality precast concrete pits, grates, lintels and kerb components from Jaybro. These provided a high-quality finish to the kerbs and utility access areas in keeping with the high standards of the overall development.

Jaybro’s range of drainage lintels is manufactured using 40mpa wet cast concrete and reinforced with AS4671 steel reinforcement.

Precast kerb units are designed for use in commercial complexes and carparks, as a complete solution to allow for faster on-site installation. Kerb entry units are manufactured using 40mpa wet cast concrete reinforced with AS4671 steel reinforcement. Additionally, robust steel grates are manufactured and tested to AS3996.2006.
